APPEARANCE

You wouldn't miss her in a crowd. She's completely purple all over, with tentacles replacing her right arm and hair. There are black voids where her eyes should be, and bright green eyes on her head, chest, and left leg while she has extra mouths on her right leg and upper left arm. She also seems to lack a nose, and she seems to have... Something dripping on her legs...

That's as close to humanoid as she's gonna get. But hey, she's not gonna cry about it.

She likes dressing in bright, casual clothes. Preferrably yellow, but you will also find her wearing those dorky anime shirts if she can get her limbs on them.

HISTORY

In the beginning (as far as we can tell), there was the Nothingness. It was nothing and everything, a perfect infinite mass of void. But then everything else came to be, and in response to sensing that the Nothing "created" what mortal beings call "The Old Deities". Of course, they're not really gods as they are a system to protect the Nothingness by correcting the error that was bound to occur.

In other words, they were designed to anihilate life as we know it from many eternities.

Among the beings that grew in the eons before life came into being was Z'Gord, Lord of the Dark Realms, an avatar of despair. It waited, patiently wating for the chance to end the world... And in one timeline, that chance came in the form of party ghost Polly Gheist and idiot werewolf Scott Howl mistaking an Ancient Tome Of The Forbidden Arts for a prank manual. A few horrible rituals later, they unleashed Z'Gord and let it destroy all of reality.

Good news, though. That was only one reality, and local world-saving witch Joy Johnson-Johjima her vampiric ex-boyfriend Liam de Lioncourt found an archane artefact that let the user visit alternate timelines and realities. From there Joy had to go through thirty seven time loops before she finally managed to trap Z'Gord in a totem and save the world...

Then she made the mistake of giving said totem to Valerie Oberlin, who promptly sold it to some random student for ten bucks... Oz, I think? Anyway, the buyer, Polly, and Merkingdom princess Miranda Vanderblit decide to expose the trapped diety the wonders of life it had only witnessed before. And ya know what? When the dreaded Z'Gord was finally freed from its prison, it ultimately accepted an invitation to prom! That night, as it had the time of its life, the eldrich deity decided to abandon its destructive destiny and become Zoe, the ultimate fangirl.

These days, she enjoys creating OCs, coming up with cute romantic AUs, and all manner of fandoms. It's not always easy, living as a mortal who also happens to have eldrich powers and all. Between her cult clumsily adjusting to their goddess' transition to dealing with certain narrow minded jerks (you know the type), life can be hard. But with all the benefits a flawed existence brings she wouldn't trade this life for the world.

ABILITIES

CRAFTY FANGIRL STUFF;
She draws pretty well! She writes a million fanfics! She can sew cosplays! She is the ultimate fangirl and she has the skills to prove it!

SHAPESHIFTING;
She may still be purple and tentacle-y, but she can modify her form at will. That's how she managed to get a humanoid form after all! She usually sticks to elongating her tentacles or temporarily sprouting extra eyes, mouths, and teeth if needed. Oh, and if that green eye on her forehead slopes in front of her two void "eyes" and glows red... Run.

MIND MANIPULATION (Requires Opt-In);
She's able to read minds and mess with them in various ways, like inserting memories or knowledge. The process for messing with people's minds can be painful, depending on how much she's inserting or deleting.

OMNIPRESENCE, SORTA;
Normally able to see into other timelines, but when put into games she can only see timelines relating to her world up to her canonpoint.

Mind Manipulation Opt In

Do you want your character to get their minds read? Need an excuse for your medieval knight to know all about cars? Need to mess with memories?

Let me know your boundaries on this, please. In most cases, she'll only go as far as reading someone's mind. Probably on accident.

I know we're just doing a test drive thread, and I'm not sure how strong Zoe's powers would be given the setting, but I'm cool with whatever re: mind manipulation/reading as long as you can let me know in the tags it's happening/if you need info!
